The top with shaped panelled back, open chamfered sides, single shelf with cup hooks below, the lower section with three frieze drawers above two central and two side cupboards on stepped flange feet, the whole with carved lozenge detailing and applied with finely wrought and beaten handles, traces of green staining

Ref. No: 1924/33. Made by Edward Barnsley (165½hrs) and Jack Harfield (47 hrs), the rack by William Patrick (139½hrs). The metal handles were supplied from Ernest Gimson's Daneway workshops for £2.15. The original cost of the dresser and rack ensemble was £49 and, at the purchaser's request, the whole piece was green stained in December of 1925.
