A MINTONS IVORY-GLAZED PARIAN CENTRE-DISH modelled as two putti lying on their backs on scrolling plinths flanking two grotesque masks, their arms upraised to support a shallow oval dish moulded on the base with ozier pattern, their hands clasping pendent vine-branches entwining the plinths, on a footed shaped-oval base moulded with laurel-wreaths and vitruvian scrolls, the rims and moulded details enriched in gilding (minor wear to gilding), impressed and pink printed marks, impressed number 1649, date code for 1868
