With its satyr-mask spout and husk-trailed channelled scroll-handle, this vase is closely related to the pair of Ch'ien Lung celadon vases with Louis XVI mounts in the National Gallery of Art, Washington (illustrated in Lunsingh Scheurleer, Chinesiches und Japanisches Porzellan in Europaïschen Fassungen, Braunschweig, 1980, p.346, Abb.344)
