Crossbanded in bois satiné, the serpentine moulded liver marble top above two long drawers simulated as two drawers each, the upper drawer with a fitted compartment to one side, the shaped apron with pierced C-scroll and foliate mount, the brass-lined serpentine angles headed by a C-scroll and foliate mount and terminating in pierced foliate sabots, with a later mahogany band above the top drawer
