The blade iorimune, shobu-zukuri with gomabashi, forging pattern of tight itame with tempered edge of o-choji midare with yo and ashi of ko-nie, tang o-suriage, 40.2cm., copper habaki inlaid with gold coiled dragons; encased in a Momoyama style saya, gilt lacquered with the design of swirling clouds, the iron kurikata of unusual form with dragon and clouds in gold and silver nunome zogan, the fuchi-kashira of shakudo nanako with dragon and clouds in gilt and shakudo takazogan, the menuki depicting juni-shi (zodiac) in gold and shakudo, the iron Namban tsuba depicting dragons among clouds
