A Continental copper-gilt chalice with silver bowl on hexafoil spreading foot, chased with six oval panels depicting the Madonna and Child, St. Peter, St Paul, Seraphim and Cherubim, the knopped stem with six circular panels depicting religious symbols, some with traces of enamel decoration, flared silver bowl with copper gilt calyx chased with roundels, probably Spanish, late 17th/early 18th century, 9¼in. high.
