Sir Patrick Budge Murray Thriepland, 4th Baronet (1762-1837) petitioned George IV in 1822 to restore the forfeited baronetcy, which was done by Act of Parliament in 1826. The name 'Murray' came from his mother, the heiress Janet Murray of Pennyland.
