The drum case surmounted by a square plinth and a floral bouquet issuing vine trails, supported on rectangular beaded pillars mounted with Egyptian maidens and surmounted by anthemia, on a rectangular plinth base with beaded rim and foliate frieze mounts centred by a domed patera, on turned bell-shaped feet, the pierced white-enamelled dial with Roman chapters, date ring, and days of the week, with pierced gilt hour and minute hands and pierced blued steel date and day hands, within a foliate beaded bezel, the movement with silk-suspended pendulum and pierced outside countwheel strike on bell, the mounts probably later
