An Austrian parcel-gilt, figured walnut, walnut and marquetry armoire
19th Century
Inlaid overall with panels of scrolling angular strapwork, the eared moulded cornice with foliate rim surmounted by a rectangular pediment with a scrolling foliate cresting, flanked to either side by pierced carved arabesques of scrolling acanthus, above a pair of doors flanked and divided by pilasters, enclosing a paper-lined interior with a later divide with three shelves and a hanging rod, above a scrolling apron and later bun feet, restorations
