A French metal-gilt sewing box with mother-of-pearl cover and sewing set

The shell-shaped box on four claw feet terminating into scrolls, the sides of the box and lid engraved with foliage, flower-head push button, hinged cover with mother-of-pearl plaque with Restauration decoration, the compartment interior containing a mother-of-pearl pair of siccors (broken), mother-of-pearl botkin (broken), a mother-of-pearl and steel botkin, a mother-of-pearl needleholder, a cut-glass perfume bottle (badly damaged) and a silver-gilt thimble
