18th/19th Century
Comprising: a Frankenthal two-handled seau of slightly bellied cylindrical form with gilt rim, with puce and gilt enriched rocaille scrolling handles, painted with Deutsche Blumen, marked with underglaze blue lion, 20cm. high (fire cracks, chips, one handle cracked); a Vienna blue and white seau, the shaped upscrolled ends moulded with foliage, the sides painted with flower-sprays, the moulded lower body with fluted rocailles, marked with underglaze blue Bindenschild above 2 and Pressnummer 3, 16cm. high (damages); a Samson seau with gadrooned rim and foot, further with moulded lion mask handles, painted with flower-sprays, with pseudo marks, 17.8cm high; a Vienna two-handled floral seau, 18cm. high (extensively repaired); a French tapering two-handled seau with green pastoral scenes, 13.2cm. high; a faience seau with lobed rim and moulded puce handles, the fluted lobed sides painted with flower- sprays, 16.5cm. high; a Holics faience seau with shell and scroll handles, painted in colours with flower-sprays, marked H, 18.7cm. high; a French faience seau with lion mask handles, painted with agricultural trophies within a floral garland, 13.5cm. high (9)
