A Meissen blue and white Zwiebelmuster part dinner service
19th/20th Century, variously marked
Decorated with the usual onion pattern, comprising: a pair of centre pieces with a pierced dish on a high pedestal spirally moulded foot, surmounted by a gallant couple, one with a maiden holding a flower basket, the other with her male companion, 33.5cm. high; an oblong low tureen and a cover, 32.5cm. wide; a two-handled circular tray with printed decoration, impressed Wachtersbach; a two-handled double-lipped sauceboat on fixed stand; a double shell-shaped side dish; two bun-shaped teapots in sizes, one with cover; a mustardpot and cover; a pair of egg cups on fixed stands; five egg cups; five cups and four saucers; four ogival saucers; a triangular dish; a kidney-shaped dish; a deep bowl; an oval dish; a pierced dessert dish; a plate; five dishes, 25cm. diam.; nine dessert dishes
