An extensive Vienna floral dinner service
1660-1665, marked with underglaze blue Bindenschild and puce A and various numerals
Painted with flower-sprays, moulded with Neu-ozier borders, comprising:
- a pair of large oval two-handled tureens and covers, with rocaille scroll handles enriched in purple, the domed cover en suite with huge flower branch finial in purple and green, 36.5cm. wide (one with chip to the finial)
- a pair of oval two-handled double-lipped sauceboats, 22.5cm. wide
- six waisted oval salt cellars, 10cm wide (one chipped to the upper edge)
- a deep bowl, 25.8cm. diam.
- four triangular dishes, 32cm. wide
- three large square dishes, 31cm. wide
- four oval dishes, 34cm. wide
- four large oval dishes, 40.3cm wide
- two large circular dishes, 35-36cm. diam. (one cracked)
- a pair of large circular dishes, 33cm diam. (one with chip)
- two shallow bowls, 24cm. diam.
- eight leaf-shaped side dishes, 24.8cm. wide (one chipped)
- Thirteen small leaf-shaped pickle-dishes with brown branch handles, with branch in relief to the underside, 10cm. wide (three with repaired handles, three with damaged handles)
- eighteen soup dishes, 24.5cm. diam.
- forty four dinner dishes, 24.5cm. diam. (115)
