Miss Bernice Davidson has kindly pointed out that the recto is similar to two standing figures of saints in altarpieces that Perino realized during his stay in Genoa from 1527 to 1534: one of them is in Celle Ligure and the other is in the Accademia Lingustica de Belle Arti, although the poses slightly differ.
