A GANDHARA GREY SCHIST STONE FIGURE OF BUDDHA SAKYAMUNI, seated in vajrasana on a small shaped base terminating in a pin, both feet carved with the cakra emblem, both hands in dharmacakramudra, wearing long pleated garment, his face with downcast expression, urna, smiling lips, elongated earlobes, curled hairdress and usnisha swayed backwards and a large plain halo behind, traces of gilding, late 2nd - early 3rd Century A.D.
