Lot Essay

It is almost certain that after the closing down of the Rozenburg factory in 1914, undecorated pieces of egg-shell porcelain were taken over by the tile and faience factory Amphora in Oegstgeest. These pieces where then decorated by o.a. Samuel Schellink who started at Amphora in 1918.
