Whiteslea Lodge is at Hickling. J.C. Harrison regularly visited Hickling. There are many birds of the Broads there, including Grebes, Herons, Bearded Reedling, many species of ducks and, in Harrison's day, you could see both Montagu's and Marsh Harriers
