Album containing fifty albumen prints, each approx. 8½ x 10½ in. or the reverse, mounted one-per-page, titled in pencil on mounts, tissue guards, black lacquer boards (part disbound), ivory and gilt onlay (part missing) depicting Japanese women dining on the water, oblong 4to.

Several views around Hong Kong including market scenes, views of the Peak Hotel, the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank, the public gardens, Queen's building, Hong Kong harbour; an image showing property in Tai Ping Shan destroyed by the Government during the plague of 1894, Chinese junks at green Island,; two execution scenes; various portraits including a group portrait of convent girls, gamblers, opium-smokers, accountants, street vendors; a portrait of chinese women with small feet and a group portrait of Japanese ladies.
