YUAN DYNASTY

The well-potted, globular body decorated with a band of scrolling leafy foliage below a band of scrolling chrysanthemum on the shoulder, supported on a splayed foot encircled by a band of classic scroll above a border of pendent lappets, set on the shoulders with a curved double spout opposite a molded shrimp handle, the slightly tapering, cylindrical neck following a metal form with overturned mouth painted with a band of stiff leaves, spout repaired--6¼in. (15.8cm.) high
