LIAO DYNASTY
Inspired by a wineskin prototype, the pear-shaped body supported on a low footring and tapering to the cylindrical spout and flattened upright shaped handle, the widest part above the foot encircled with a narrow raised band and joined to the spout and handle with two other raised bands simulating the seams, covered allover with a brilliant, pale green glaze speckled unevenly on one side with red--11½in. (29.2cm.) high
