Woven in the central field with nine, leaping, five-clawed dragons amidst faint cloud and fire scrolls, within a stylized cloud and wave border, picked out in muted shades of dark blue, russet, gray and ochre against a golden brown ground, applied silk fringe, woven with a five-character inscription at the top reading, Wu Ying Dian Bei Yong, which may be translated as 'For use in the Hall of Military Prowess'--122 x 96in. (309.8 x 243.6cm.)
