18TH CENTURY
The front with a panoramic view of a red-robed dignitary leading a procession of equestrians, bannermen and foot soldiers through a rocky landscape within concentric frames formed by a band of flowering plants and riverscapes between outermost tendril-scroll bands; the reverse with the same official ensconced in the main hall of a large riverside villa, his retinue at leisure around him, all within concentric frames fromed by a flowerhead and cell-pattern band, a band of landscapes, floral baskets and auspicious objects, the outermost border of pairs of bats flanking flowerheads--each panel 108½in. (276.5cm.) high, 18in. (46cm.) wide
