Going to the Start shows a portion of the race track at Morris Park, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Titled Going to the Start in Camera Work, Stieglitz seemed to equally favor the two titles. Another example of this gravure, in a private collection, is titled Going to the Post, Morris Park. Stieglitz gave an example of this printing to Paul Haviland also titled in this manner.
