Of baluster form, on spreading circular molded foot, the scroll spout with acanthus leaves and flowerheads, with wood scroll handle, the body elaborately repousse with scrolls, foliage and flowerheads, the hinged domed cover of similar rocaille decoration, surmounted by an acorn finial with ball, engraved on both sides with foliate cartouches, marked on side and on cover--10in.(25.4cm.) high
