Of tapering baluster form on spreading circular base, chased with rocaille scrolls and shells, with scroll panelled spout issuing from acanthus and wood scroll handle, the hinged domed cover with similar foliate scrolls surmounted by a pomagranite finial, engraved on side with coat-of-arms, crest and motto, marked on side, the base with accession no. 233.50 and 1970.405--9 1/2in.(24.1cm.) high
