The tub-shaped bodies on four massive acanthus scroll and shell feet terminating in rectangular pads with canted corners, chased with vertical flutes and applied at the shoulder with a reeded band, the reeded leaf-clad handles issuing from lion masks, with applied gadrooned rim with anthemion at intervals, the wasted cover with similar gadrooned rim, the body engraved with accole coats-of-arms, motto and supporters against ermine mantling surmounted by a Marquess's, the liners and covers also engraved with the same coronet and crest, marked under bases, on covers and liners--9 3/8in.(23.8cm.) high
