In the George IV style, of urn form on circular base chased with flutes and roped decoration, the lower body chased with flutes below a band of guilloche, with leaf-clad bifurcating coiled handles, the shoulder with applied scrolling grapevines below ovolo decoration, the domed cover with gadrooned rim with acanthus at intervals and a band of flutes below a calyx of acanthus and a swirling bud finial, marked on side and cover, also with later control mark and retailer's mark of HANCOCK & CO. 39 BRUTON ST.
