In the George II taste, comprising coffee pot, teapot, cream jug and covered sugar basin; each of baluster form on molded foot, chased with scrolls and shells with a band of paterae beneath rim, with wood scroll handles on coffee pot and teapot, surmounted by a calyx of acanthus and knopped baluster finial, the tray of rectangular form on four bracket supports, the field chased with similar decoration, marked under bases, on covers and tray--height of coffee pot 7 1/2in.(19cm.)
