BERLIN, 1903, MAKER'S MARK OF HERMANN JULIUS WILN, THE STAND MAKER'S MARK OF I. WAGNER & SOHN
Of ovoid form on spreading foot, engraved with a band of laurel leaves, each side with a circular cartouche enclosing the monogram WR surmounted by a crown, the removable cover with tied reed and acanthus border engraved with similar laurel border and surmounted by a bud finial, the shaped oval stand with similar tied reed rim, engraved underneath with the same monogram and crown, date and scratch weight, marked on base and stand--length of stand 9 1/4in.(23.5cm.)
