Translates: "My son, I am sending you a letter from (General) Turenne. Give orders in accordance; it is disturbing that we are already losing supplies. Do not follow the same method in Italy that we do in France, and make the warehousemen responsible for controlled issuance of supplies. Your affectionate father, Napoleon."
