Hammered in the form of a frontal head of Hathor, wearing a decorative collar and a banded wig of individual rows, each detailed with incised chevron, the triangular face with protruding cow ears, large rimmed eyes with cosmetic lines and inlaid pupils, chevroned brow, rounded nose with indented nostrils, and severe lips, the filtrum indicated, enclosed within an inner border of palmette chain, and an outer of guilloche, pierced along the rim for attachment, 7in. (17.8cm.) long, 2 3/4in. (6.35cm.) deep
