Of ovoid form with tall, cylindrical neck, ring foot and recessed base, painted in pale underglaze blue with a bird perched on a spray of chrysanthemums which extends around the body of the vessel, a faint underglaze blue line above the foot and encircling the rim- 5 1/2 in. (14 cm.) high, surface crackle stains and hairline cracks through neck
