The Tadolini family worked for a century and a half out of the same workshop on the Via del Babuino. Scipione Tadolini (1822-1892) received many international public and private commissions such as the portrait bust of King Vittorio Emmanuele I and an equestrian portrait of Simon Bolivar for the city of Lima Peru.
