"Fourteen well-spread notes from cask onwards. From the start, deep, rich, almost with a '70 denseness, now mellowing though still quite intense. Good nose. Rich, meaty yet some hardness concealing further potential. Four-square, full of chunky fruit and vinosity, far less charm and fragrance than Lafite, Margaux or Mouton but better balanced than all three." JMB
