Of oval form, raised on three part-fluted scroll feet headed by rocaille, the body chased with scrolling flutes below a band of acanthus scrolls and flowerheads, chased under the lip with a rocaille and scroll cartouche engraved with a crest, with wavy rim and bifurcated flying acanthus scroll handle, marked under base and with scratch weight 10.3--7 5/8in. (19.2cm.) long
