Comprising teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl; each of vase-shaped form, on spreading circular rim foot chased with alternating stylized leaves and circles, the body with a band of geometric decoration on a matted ground, the rim with an egg-and-dart band below anthemion and fluting, the teapot with scroll spout issuing from anthemion on a fluted ground, the wood scroll handle socket formed as Minerva's head, the flat hinged cover with flower finial, the sugar bowl and cream jug with bifurcated scroll foliate handles terminating in a similar classical head, marked under bases and on cover--length of teapot 10 1/2in. (26.7cm.)
