Each of shaped oblong form, the applied gadrooned rim with acanthus scrolls, flowerheads and rocaille at the corners, with flying foliate scroll handle, the oblong part-fluted vase-shaped socket raised on a scroll and acanthus pedestal below a gadrooned rim, with removable shaped oblong nozzle with similar rim, the conical extinguisher with gadrooned rim and acorn finial, the base engraved with a coat-of-arms, motto and two crests, the extinguisher engraved with the same crests and motto, marked under bases, on extinguishers and nozzles--6 7/8in. (17.5cm.) long

The arms are those of Ingilby quarterly with those of Amcotts, as borne by Sir William Ingilby of Kettlethorpe Park, who succeeded to the Baronetcy in 1796 and, on the death of his mother, Dame Elizabeth Amcotts-Ingilby, in 1812 took the name of Amcotts before that of Ingilby.
