In the style of Paul de Lamerie, of baluster form, on spreading circular foot chased with a band of circles below a band of stapwork and bellflowers with shells at intervals, the body applied with strapwrok, bellflowers and winged mask vertical panels on a matted ground, the high domed cover pierced and engraved with trelliswork and flowerheads above a similar rim and surmounted by a leaf-clad urn finial, marked on bodies and covers--9 1/2in. (24cm.) high
