In the George II taste, comprising teapot, coffee pot, hot-milk jug, hot-water kettle, stand and lamp, covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl; ovoid-form, on shaped circular paneled rim foot, the paneled body flat-chased at the shoulder with foliate scrolls, rocaille and trelliswork, with scroll spouts and wood scroll handles, the flat covers with fluted wood bead finial, the kettle stand raised on four pad and scroll supports, with removable central circular burner; the oblong tray flat-chased with a similar acanthus scroll, rocaille and trelliswork border, the molded rim applied with similar acanthus scrolls and rocaille at intervals, with two reeded acanthus scroll side handles, fully marked--height of kettle on stand12 5/8in. (32cm.), length over handles of tray 27 5/8in. (70.1cm.)
