Each on spreading octagonal foot, cast and chased with panels of alternating acanthus scrolls and torches enclosing a flowerhead and flowerheads amid trelliswork, rising to a knopped baluster stem issuing from a calyx of alternating flowerheads within strapwork and bell flowers, the faceted stem applied with classical busts on a matted ground within oval cartouches above similar folate decoration, the vase-shaped socket chased with a stiff leaf band below a mid-rib, with removable later reeded circular nozzles, the wells engraved iwth accole coats-of-arms surmounted by a coronet, marked on bases, with the charge and discharge of Charles Cordier--9in. (22.9cm.) high
