The vase shaped bulbous body richly engraved with arabesques, foliate scrolls, and harpies enclosing shaped cartouches each depicting two bears flanking a stylized urn above further arabesques, champleve enamelled in royal blue, dark green turquoise, red and white, below an enamelled byan with adage in Viaz script, engraved under base with a monogram, marked under base--4 1/4in. (10.6cm.) high
