Of tapering cylindrical form on moulded rim foot, the lower part of the body chased with a band of spiral fluting and punched with a band of stylized foliage, with tubular scroll handle applied with beading, the flat domed hinged cover chased with a band of similar fluting and with scroll thumbpiece, engraved with a coat-of-arms within an elaborate foliate scroll cartouche, marked on body, handle and cover--8 5/8in. (21.9 cm.)
