Of tapering cylindrical form on a moulded foot rim, with tubular scroll handle engraved with the initials A over WM, the hinged flat domed cover with scroll thumbpiece, the front engraved with a coat-of-arms and crest within a circular foliate scroll cartouche with cherubs and a mask on a ruled ground, marked on body and cover and handle--7 7/8in. (20cm.) high
