Of vase-shaped form on an oval foot, the body repousse and chased with classical figures within an elaborate landscape, the cast handle in the form of a maiden, the spout terminating in a Bacchic mask, the hinged domed cover chased with a grape-vine border and surmounted by a cherub finial, one side engraved with armorials, marked on body and cover--11½in.
