Each on a naturalistically cast and chased base, with a pierced rocaille and foliate scroll border, raised on three foliate scroll and rocaille feet, the foliate scroll stem supporting a baluster-shaped acanthus socket, one applied with a cast figure of a country maiden and a playing dog with an oak tree behind, the other applied with the figure of her admirer and his hound with a similar oak tree behind, the bases applied with a monogram, fully marked--11½in.
