Of baluster form on a spreading circular foot, the body paneled with repoussé and chased scrolls, with forest animals scenes and a peacock surrounded by foliate scroll cartouches on a matted ground, with wood scroll handle and ribbed and double-drop hinged covered spout, the hinged domed cover with foliate scrolls on a matted ground, with a scroll thumbpiece and unscrewing baluster finial, engraved with a coat-of-arms, coronet and supporters, marked on base--10¾in. (27.3cm.) high
