The frame of gilt-bronze pierced and chased with scrolling leaves fitted with a hinged oval double frame, the front with a black onyx plaque applied with blue glass forget-me-nots and jadeite leaves, the interior with two oval porcelain plaques, one painted with a Near Eastern girl leaning on a ewer at a well, the other with a gypsy girl holding a tambourine--10 in. high overall (2)
