Elongated octagonal, on four lion's-paw feet, the border applied with fruit garlands, the rim with tied reeds and grapevine at intervals, the two handles formed as facing snakes, the field fitted with three pots with acanthus leaves against a matted ground, each opening to an inner glass pot with silver-gilt rim, two with covers, one pierced for pounce, fully marked
