A FINE LARGE BLUE AND WHITE STEMCUP
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN A LINE WITHIN THE FOOTRIM AND OF THE PERIOD

Painted in early Ming style with lanca characters interspersed with flower-heads growing from scrolled stems issuing curled leaves above a band of radiating lappets, the splayed foot with a collar decorated with sprigs and tassels pendent from ruyi-heads, the interior with a large flower-head medallion--5 7/8in. (15cm.) diam.
