Enamelled to the exterior with striding green and red dragons amid scrolling floral sprays in pursuit of 'flaming pearls', divided by two descending phoenixes, all beneath a narrow band with the eight Buddhist emblems interspersed with ruyi-heads, the interior with a central medallion enclosing an ascending dragon reaching for a 'flaming pearl' among fire scrolls--5 1/4in. (13.3cm.) diam.
